Why do people flee from their countries?

Around the globe people flee from their homes. Some flee within their own country, others seek refuge in foreign countries. The causes are different: war, famine, natural disasters, or the desire for a better life. We take a look at these reasons and discuss them with Thomas Schroedter from the University of Paderborn.
